New Devon Opera is seeking to put together a stage crew for this years summer production and would like to make available technical positions and experience to students and volunteers.

We can offer opportunities for intern ASM.

This years production is Mme Butterfly (Puccini).
Our season will require crew 5th July - 30 July.

Now in its eighth season, New Devon Opera, the South West´s resident professional opera company, will tour seven (possibly eight) performances in Devon of this much-loved opera. Accompanied by New Devon Opera´s orchestra of 21 professional musicians, the outstanding international cast is led by Italian tenor, Pietro Picone. The role of the young geisha, Cio Cio San, is shared between sopranos Susan Jiwey and Mariya Krywaniuk.  Wyn Pencarreg and Stuart Haycock reprise the roles they sang in 2011 for the Mid Wales Opera´s award-winning production. The opera is sung in English.
